Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to iconfit.com, Icon Fit Clubs LLC (“IconFit”) and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Icon Fit Clubs LLC include iconfit.com, Icon Fit L.A. LLC and IconFit. The IconFit website is an informational site about our fitness facility, memberships, classes, and related services. By using the IconFit website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit the Site, submit a request for information, or otherwise communicate with us. It is intended to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (Business and Professions Code sections 22575–22579) and, to the extent they apply, the California Shine the Light law (Civil Code section 1798.83) and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (Civil Code sections 1798.100–1798.199.100) (“CCPA”).
Collection of your Personal Information
In order to respond to inquiries and provide the information described on our Site, IconFit may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, such as your:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- How you heard about us
- The content of your inquiry, or other information you choose to send us
We collect this information when you submit a contact or join form on the Site, including the form that asks a membership associate to contact you about a visit, a day pass, or membership; when you email or call us; or when you otherwise ask us to contact you.
We do not collect personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it or it is collected automatically as described below. We do not require you to create an account, enter a sweepstakes or contest, sign up for third-party offers, or submit credit card or other payment information in order to use the Site. Membership purchases, billing, and facility waivers completed in person or in a separate membership system are governed by that membership agreement and any notice provided at that time.
We may also collect:
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, and access times
- Information processed by security and spam-prevention tools used on our forms, such as a bot-challenge service
- Records of your communication preferences and, if you opt in, your consent to receive calls or text messages, including the date and time of consent, the disclosure you agreed to, and the phone number you provided
Use of your Personal Information
IconFit collects and uses your personal information to operate its website and to deliver the services you have requested. In particular, we use personal information to:
- Respond to your request for information about memberships, classes, day passes, visits, or the facility
- Contact you by email, phone, or, if you agree, text message about that request
- Schedule or follow up on a visit or day pass
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
- Comply with law and keep records of consent and opt-outs
- Send occasional emails about IconFit memberships, classes, and offers, if you opt in or as otherwise permitted by law, with an unsubscribe method in each marketing email
We do not use the Site to run mass text-message marketing campaigns. Text messages are used to respond to, and follow up on, a request you submit.
Text Messages and Phone Calls
If you submit a phone number and give the consent described in our Terms of Use, IconFit may call you and send you text messages (SMS or MMS) about your inquiry. Those messages may include information you requested and related membership, class, visit, or day-pass information. They are follow-up messages about your request. They are not a general mass-texting program.
Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and our follow-up. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP, email info@iconfit.com, or call (310) 836-8000. Consent to receive calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing a membership or any other product or service, and it is not required to submit a question by email or to join in person.
We send text messages only to the mobile number you provide, and only if you give clear affirmative consent, such as by checking an unchecked consent box on the form. Checking that box is not required to submit the rest of the form. See the Terms of Use for the full text-message terms, including the consent language that should appear next to the box.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
IconFit does not sell your personal information for money. We do not rent or lease our customer lists to third parties. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for those third parties’ own direct marketing by mail, email, or telephone unless you first affirmatively agree to that disclosure. We do not share inquiry information, membership information, or other personal information with other IconFit locations or with any other gym.
We do use advertising and measurement tools on the Site. Google advertising tags and the Meta Pixel may receive online identifiers and usage information from your browser, such as a cookie ID, IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and actions on the Site, including that a form was submitted. Google and Meta may use that information to measure our ads, to understand which ads led to a visit or an inquiry, and to show you ads for IconFit on their services and on other sites. Those companies’ own privacy policies describe how they use this information. This is not a sale of our customer list, and it is not a transfer of your name, email address, or phone number to another IconFit location.
We may also disclose personal information to service providers that process it for our purposes, including:
- Website hosting and form providers
- Email and text-message delivery providers
- Security and spam-prevention providers that help us operate and protect the Site
- Google, for advertising measurement and related tags, and Meta, for the Meta Pixel
- Professional advisors, and a successor in a merger, financing, or sale of this business, if applicable
Service providers that host the Site, deliver email or text messages, or protect the forms are not permitted to use your personal information for their own marketing. Google and Meta may use information collected through their tags as described in their own policies. We may store data on servers provided by third-party hosting, email, and messaging vendors. Those vendors are located in the United States.
IconFit may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with law or legal process served on IconFit or the Site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of IconFit; and/or (c) protect the personal safety of our members, staff, users of the Site, or the public.
Tracking User Behavior
IconFit may keep track of the pages users visit on the Site in order to understand which information is most useful and to maintain and improve the Site. We also use Google advertising tags and the Meta Pixel to measure advertising and to relate visits and form submissions to our ads. We do not use this information to sell a customer list, and we do not combine it with membership records from any other IconFit location.
Automatically Collected Information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by IconFit. This information can include your IP address, browser type, device type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the Site, to maintain the quality and security of the Site, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the IconFit website.
Use of Cookies
The IconFit website uses cookies and similar technologies, including pixels, to help the Site function, remember preferences, understand Site traffic, measure advertising, and protect forms from spam. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your device by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
The advertising technologies on the Site are Google advertising and measurement tags, and the Meta Pixel operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. These tools may set or read cookies and may collect information about your browser, device, IP address, the pages you view on the Site, and whether you submit a form. They may collect this information when you visit the Site, including before you submit a form. Google and Meta may use it to measure our advertising and to show IconFit ads to you on Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other sites and apps that use their advertising services. We do not control Google’s or Meta’s later use of information they collect under their own policies.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to use every interactive feature of the Site. You can also limit advertising use of this information through Google’s ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com, Meta’s ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://optout.aboutads.info, and the Network Advertising Initiative at https://optout.networkadvertising.org. Those opt-outs are browser-specific and do not delete information you submitted on a form.
Do Not Track and similar signals. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Third parties, including Google and Meta, may collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites when their tags or the Meta Pixel run on this Site. We do not sell personal information for money. If we add a different advertising partner, we will update this Policy.

This website contains links to other sites, including map services and our social-media pages. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
Children Under Thirteen
IconFit does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen through the Site. The Site is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of 18, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Contact us at info@iconfit.com.
E-mail Communications
IconFit may contact you by email to respond to an inquiry and to send confirmations or other messages related to a request you made. If you opt in, or as otherwise permitted by law, we may also send occasional announcements or promotional emails about IconFit. In order to understand whether our messages are useful, our email provider may tell us whether a marketing email was opened or a link in it was clicked.
If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from IconFit, use the unsubscribe link in the email or email info@iconfit.com. Please do not reply STOP to an email; STOP is the opt-out keyword for text messages. Transactional messages about a request you made may continue after you unsubscribe from marketing email. Email opt-out is separate from text-message opt-out.
Opt-Out and Your Choices
We respect your privacy and give you a way to opt out of marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails as described above, and you may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You may also contact us at the address below to ask us to update or delete inquiry information we hold, subject to records we are required to keep. We do not send third-party partner marketing, and we do not transfer your name, email, address, or telephone number to a third party so that third party can market to you, unless you first affirmatively agree.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterward for business records, then we delete or de-identify it, unless a longer period is required by law. We keep call and text consent and opt-out records for at least four years after the last related message, or longer if required, so we can honor your choice and demonstrate compliance.
Your California Privacy Rights
California Online Privacy Protection Act. This Policy identifies the categories of personally identifiable information we collect through the Site, how we collect it, the categories of third parties with whom we may share it, how you can review or request a change to information you submitted, and how we will notify you of material changes. The effective date is stated below. A link to this Policy appears on the Site.
Shine the Light. IconFit’s policy is not to disclose personal information of customers to third parties for those third parties’ own direct marketing by mail, email, or telephone unless the customer first affirmatively agrees. Advertising measurement through Google tags and the Meta Pixel is described above and is not a disclosure of our customer list for a third party’s own mail, email, or telephone marketing. Customers with an established business relationship with us may email info@iconfit.com to ask about any Shine the Light disclosures. A business with fewer than 20 full-time or part-time employees is exempt from some requirements of Civil Code section 1798.83.
California Consumer Privacy Act. The CCPA applies only to a for-profit business that meets at least one statutory threshold: annual gross revenues over $26,625,000 in the preceding calendar year (the inflation-adjusted amount in effect as of January 1, 2025, subject to later adjustment), alone or in combination annually buys, sells, or shares the personal information of 100,000 or more consumers or households, or derives 50 percent or more of its annual revenues from selling or sharing consumers’ personal information. IconFit does not meet the revenue threshold. We do not share personal information with other IconFit locations, and we are not relying on another location’s revenue or branding to bring this location under the CCPA. On that basis, the CCPA consumer-request rights do not currently apply to IconFit. If our revenue, our advertising volume, or our relationship with another location changes so that a threshold is met, we will update this Policy and provide the notices and request methods the CCPA requires.
Even though the CCPA does not currently apply, you may still ask us what inquiry information we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@iconfit.com, calling (310) 836-8000, or writing to the address below. We will not require you to create an account. Advertising cookies set by Google or Meta are controlled through the opt-out links above, not by deleting a form submission.
Changes to this Statement
IconFit reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page, update the effective date, and, for a material change in how we use personal information already collected, place a prominent notice on the Site or send a notice to the email address you provided, where appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after the updated Policy is posted will constitute your acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy.
